FAQ’S

  • An interior designer analyzes an area's spatial aspects to assess its practicality, functionality, aesthetics, and flow throughout your home. On the other hand, a kitchen/bathroom designer has received specialized training or experience in the unique design challenges and requirements of bathroom and kitchen spaces and can provide tailored expertise and solutions for these spaces.

  • If you intend to work with a designer, it's best to involve them as early as possible in the planning process. Making changes after a project has started can be expensive, as tradespeople may charge additional fees for variations or for returning or changing products. Collaborating with a designer ensures that the necessary spaces are available and your vision will be realized. Additionally, I prefer to work together with any other trades involved to achieve the best possible outcome for you.

  • I provide a fee proposal for each project, and the cost will vary depending on the scope of work involved. At Interior Plans, I cater to various budget levels, depending on the scope and level of assistance needed.

  • I am an independent designer and have no commitments to particular products, suppliers or companies' standard sizes, nor do I have any sales targets to meet. This allows me to design the best kitchen/space that suits your requirements and budget. I carefully analyze the overall flow of your home to create an aesthetic and cohesive design. I take the time to connect with you, understand how you use the space, and determine what you need. Whilst some builders/cabinet makers may have some ideas ultimately their role is to build/make what you would like. They don’t always to take the time to sort out exactly what you want and design something for your lifestyle.

  • Yes, I would love to help with any kitchen/bathroom project, whether it is modifying or updating a space so it works or looks better. Contact me, and we discuss the project to see how we can do this.

  • Absolutely! Many people don't know exactly what they want and face difficulty communicating their needs to their tradespeople. With a set of well documented design drawings, you can get multiple quotes and ensure everyone is quoting on the same scope of work.

Various trades, such as tilers, builders, cabinet makers, plumbers, and electricians, can utilise the design drawings for quoting and building.
